Me!  Hi, I'm Jeanine Motsay.  I appreciate your interest in my resident mental health counseling practices.  I provide individual psychotherapy to children, teens and adults.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  During my undergrad tenure, the college's psychology program was ranked ninth nationally. I earned my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Christian Theological Seminary on the Butler University campus.

More! After earning my bachelor’s degree, I spent twenty-five years as a business professional in workforce, project consulting and health care operational focuses. My sequential employment roles were analyst, manager, senior consultant, director, vice president and chief operating officer. I was principal for my own consulting firm founding an Indianapolis-based women-owned LLC. I founded a nonprofit and worked with the National Institute of Health’s (NIH) National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) for two health observance campaigns in 2015 and 2016 for outreach and awareness of the dangers of drug and alcohol to teens in Indiana schools and communities.

In September 2015, I began studying for my Masters of Art, Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As a graduate student at Christian Theological Seminary (CTS), I provided individual therapy to teens and adults at the campus Counseling Center as well as Emotional Intelligence Group Therapy for adults.  I was an offsite intern at Greenwood Counseling Associates, Inc. (GCA) and worked under the supervision of Dr. Rick Ruegg.  My work with GCA involved psychotherapy for teens, adults and couples. I completed graduate studies August 2018 with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  My post-graduate studies are with the International Psychotherapy Institute in a Two-Year Certificate Program providing concentrated immersion in psychoanalytic theory and practice.

I am a practice member of the Ferguson Group, a psychodynamic therapy practice in Broad Ripple.  As a Resident Mental Health Counselor, I am supervised by Ms. Sally Kennedy, LMHC, LMFT.  As a private pay client, schedule your first session here.

I also see Medicaid patients for Innovative Interventions, LLC, an Indianapolis-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) practice, with supervision by psychologist, Dr. Thomas Battocletti, Ph.D., HSPP. As a Medicaid client, submit your information requesting my therapist services here.

My recent speaking engagements were: keynote speaker, Indiana Criminal Justice Association 84th Annual Fall Conference, October 18, 2017; workshop presenter, “Grief: Mind, Body and Soul,” Indiana Counseling Association Annual Conference, May 5, 2017.

Published writing features are: More Mornings With the Dads by the Dad’s Group, February 24, 2016, and  Heart Guide: True Stories of Grief and Healing by Diana Ensign, July 17, 2017.

My most recent project management work, 2018 to 2019, as Clinical Consultant and Engagement Leader entailed implementation of an Electronic Health Record System for the State of Indiana psychiatric hospital network.

Thanks for visiting my site.  Whatever brings you to counseling, know I'll find working with you as fulfilling as I hope you'll find therapy.
